I've been having problem with Sony Vegas Pro 9 (64 Bit) on my Windows 7 PC. My specs are really high so it's not really a performance issue but i've spent like 15 hours editing this HD Footage from my Xbox Gameplay and now the.veg file is playing up, whenever I open the file it will freeze the machine. When I try and render out what i've done so far the render bar will just stay on 0% and will say it's rendering but will actually just be doing or it will just crash the program again, I tried opening the project on vegas 10 and it says that some plug ins are not installed with an error box at the start and then won't have any of those on there and then since that vegas 9 has been saying the same and then it comes up with some plug ins are not installed correctly etc etc and lists like some sound effects that come with vegas, not my custom plug ins.

I've tried so many things like cutting the project from one project and putting it into a new one and the same stuff happens.
If I was to uninstall vegas and renistall it would my plug ins still be installed? Best Answer: Did you try reinstalling the plugins and/or program? If you're gonna reinstall Sony it will also delete all the plugins so you have to install the plugins again. I think that's the only way to fix this problem.

Some other try's: -Run as admin -Open the file in the directory and not the shortcut -Try opening the program first and then load up your project. Or if you did this the whole time, go to the saved.veg file and open it.
I've never heard of this problem, though. I think it's a performance issue of Sony Vegas, not your machine. Tell us some more. Upload in Progress.
