Best Answer: Can you give us some more information about the machine? What experience do you have with sewing? How are you winding the bobbin? Is the bobbin smoothly wound? When you say the 'it gets tangled or bunched up underneath the bobbin', are you talking about the top thread getting tangled?

If so, did you thread with the presser foot up and fetch the bobbin thread to the top before starting to sew? Did you hang on to the bobbin thread and top thread tails when you started the seam? There are some free New Home threading instructions on though not for this particular model. However, instructions for a different model may work as well. There are also pay for it reproductions available. Janome bought New Home many years ago. Their customer service would be the first folks I'd probably talk to in the quest for a manual.
