This looks great, simple and clean. I agree with the previous poster: since the skills are limited, name them. I really like the symbol you have under them for reroll, 15s, and exploding, I didn't catch that on the first glance. Same thing for Arcana, we know one will be a hubris and one a Virtue so name them so, maybe leave a bit more space to write in the description. The backgrounds section should have the title and the subsection of quirk so that it can be written there, however quirks can change through gameplay so they might need to be their own separate section. Reputation is a one word description so that may be too big of a space unless you want to record how it was earned, maybe a section for heroic deeds would be more appropriate. At most a person will have two stories and their GM story.

A modified Character Sheet for 7th Sea 2e. This is the link to the PDF. These are editable and form fillable. 7thSea2e Character Sheet editable. 7th Sea Character Sheet. Widely available it becomes harder and harder to find character sheets, especially editable ones. Great to see 7th Sea get.

If each step is listed then that space is fine. Granted there really isn't that much that needs to go into a character sheet for this game but this is a good looking sheet.

If you wanted to you could add some flair, like a picture or fancy fonts. SKILLS: I'm torn about naming the skills, mainly because I expect new ones to get added with future books and for tables to create their own. Maybe I'll name the official ones and then add a few blank lines so that they can be extended on as people like. ARCANA: Yes, good suggestion. The description would probably be a nice add, especially since players forget that sort of stuff all the time. BACKGROUNDS: I support the idea of a separate section for quirks.

REPUTATION: You can have multiple reputation and multiple ranks of the same reputation (at least you were able to in the playtest, I haven't finished reading the preview) so I wanted to leave enough space to account for that. I like the idea of a Heroic Deeds section. STORIES: Starting off you'll have 2 stories, but you'll gain and add stories over time. Events might happen in the game that the PC gets excited about and says they want to add as a story for the future. If they have corruption they'll have their redemption story to begin working on. It also provides justification for the various advantages/skill/trait ranks they have. I agree that it could be reduced, 9 lines might be excessive.

OTHER CHANGES: The other big change I'll probably make is the 'Death Spiral.' As fun and thematic as the idea is, it isn't all that easy to work with in it's current state. I'd like to find a way to make it easier to read. Skills: I agree that you shouldn't list them all.

Leave them blank and let people fill them in, makes it easier to add sorcery and duelist skills in there. Wounds: The death spiral IS unnecessarily large and redundant. Make 8 circular dots for flesh wounds, have people cross out or totally fill in the extras they won't have due to their Resolve trait, then put the four explosion blips just to the right to indicate dramatics. Something like for example.

Otherwise looks good, though I admit I also dislike landscape sheets. So I decided to go and actually consult the Preview instead of trying to piece together my memory from the QS and playtest docs, and I found it: Pg 165: Each hero gets 4 wounds proceeding each Dramatic Wound, but the regular wounds are washed at the end of each scene. At the start of the game, Klara's spiral looks as follows: 0000D0000D0000D0000D So if in Scene 1 Klara gets 19 wounds, she ends up with a total of 3 dramatic wounds (4+1+4+1+4+1+4): XXXX!XXXX!XXXX!XXXXD If she had hit 20 she would have hit the final point on the spiral and become helpless: When the scene ends, the 16 regular wounds are erased, but the 3 DWs remain. 0000!0000!0000!0000D If two scenes later she comes out with 10 new wounds, she would still have 3 DW because she's going back through the spiral: XXXX!XXXX!XX00!0000D That's much easier to keep track of than it was in some of the earlier drafts.

Looks like some of the Advantages will allow you to push up to an additional tier of wounds now (Hard to Kill.).
